The KwazuluSpirit Festival™, initially inspired by Bali Spirit Festival, the New Zealand North and South Spirit Festival, has been curated in 2026 with the reviews of 2023, 2024 and 2025 top of mind. This festival is our fourth year in celebration of the human spirit, our humanity and divinity, a vibrant exploration of consciousness and wellbeing. It just keeps getting better and better.

2026 is the ‘Year of the Fire Horse’
The auspicious year adds a layer of passion, strength and rapid movement, further pushing the fiery ‘new beginning’ theme… We bring you FIRE WALKING with Cobus ‘The Viking’ Visser on the Saturday. early evening to maximise the powerful transitional dusk, bringing with it its reflection, acceptance of the shadow, balance and closure.
The 1 year signifies new beginnings, highlighting action and fresh starts.
We have a ‘power’ programme of Transformational Masterclasses on both days, including:Colleen-Joy Page, Sharon Castle, Anne-Marie Clulow, Jenna Dias, ‘Crossing Over’ with Radio Metro’s Taz Singh and ‘Channelling to Write with renowned publisher and author Sarah Bullen.
KZN’s much-loved spirit medium,Liz Viviers, gets our messages from above and beyond the veil, Chanel Lingenfelder channels Kuthumi LIVE. Another highly regarded KZN leader, Anne de Chazal introduces a rich and ancient sonic world of sound healing, an experience to cherish.

This day points to creative expression and social energy, making it a potent time for initiating projects and connecting with like-minded beings. This day in the 1 year we bring you ‘The Rise of the Divine Feminine’ with Rouxvé, spiritual teacher, priestess and integrative guide.
Our Body Movement Modalities are a highlight for all festival attendees: Tai Chi with Leo Ming, Hatha Yoga, meditation and Kirtan with Duncan Rice and Sacred Dance with Liz Cunningham.
30th May offers a carefully curated Mindful Artisan Market, live music with Ricky Zuma, something for everyone, including the kids,at the Salt Rock Country Club directly opposite the hotel; entrance to the market is free.Visit our Traditional Healing Village, at the market, hosted by Soweto-basedGodfrey Madlalate, who has been working as a traditional health practitioner since 2001, as he joins us to share his internationally acclaimed knowledge with you.

This is a day to initiate, lead and build a solid foundation for renewed life chapters, blending the fiery energy of the year with a need for practical, grounded action. Our Masterclasses continue on Sunday and support the need for grounded action and the need for a solid foundation as we approach 2026 with renewed vigour. Our magnificent Movement Modalities bring our intentions into tangible form through gentle physical movement.
We are delighted to offer a masterclass for the gents – ‘Untamed Men’ by former Springbok rugby player Joe van Niekerk. Since retiring from professional rugby in 2014, Joe has undergone a profound personal journey. Today, he works as a trauma healing coach, supporting both men and women, and brings a focused, two-hour men’s breakthrough experience for this significant ‘Untamed Men’ event. Secret Sensorium with Anne-Marie Clulow Visser and Tim Visser offers a new and powerful soundscape with headphones, and ‘The Other Side, hosted by Sarah Bullen, is the final significant event with panellists, Heike Sym, Cobus ‘The Viking’ Visser and Christa Buthelezi, the new publisher and editor of Odyssey Magazine.
Proceedings close with a Metta (Loving Kindness) Meditation with Pamela Evans of the Buddhist Retreat Centre, Ixopo.
